Sonar Media was founded in 2014 to provide growth marketing strategy and execution to early stage consumer brands who don’t fit the traditional agency model. Our project based approach provides clients with the flexibility they need to continue running their other marketing functions in-house or with outside partners.

Bob Dashtizad
As head of the digital marketing team that helped fuel the rapid growth of MySpace resulting in its acquisition by 20th Century Fox in 2005, Bob has nearly 20 years of experience in digital media, brand strategy and user acquisition for global brands in the automotive, CPG, entertainment, fintech, travel and web 3 categories . Bob has sat on all sides of the negotiation table representing brand clients, media agencies and as a strategic advisor.
Over his career, he has directed $1B+ in strategic media investments on behalf of Fortune 500 clients like Lyft, Mint Mobile, Johnson & Johnson, Gemini, Dyson, Fox Broadcast, AMC Networks, Magnolia Pictures, Neon, Yokohama Tires, Mercury Insurance, Equifax and Galderma.
